About the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)

The AAT are a professional membership body that award skills-based bookkeeping, accountancy and finance qualifications. An AAT qualification is a route to some of the most in demand skills in the world, providing you with a professional status you can be proud of.

The AAT has over 125,000 members and students worldwide.

In Demand

The AAT qualification is universally respected and internationally recognised.

The AAT qualification is sponsored by ICAEW, CIMA, ICAS and CIPFA.

The AAT award around 80% of all vocational accounting qualifications.

Why take the AAT qualification?

The AAT qualification is designed to give you a solid base of accounting principles and skills to build on throughout your career. The qualification is right up-to-date and a great way to stand out in your company or the job market.

The AAT is a qualification undertaken for many reasons:

  • You may see it as a way of entering the world of accountancy and finance, in the whole range of professions from bookkeeper to financial or management accountant or auditor.
  • You may want to learn more about the theories underpinning your current job role.
  • You may see it as an invaluable aid to career progression.
  • You may have many years’ financial experience and now want a formal qualification.

How AAT courses are assessed

All of the units covered by the AAT will be assessed via Computer Based Test (CBT):

Level 2

4 assessments
(all mandatory)

Level 3

5 assessments
(all mandatory)

Level 4

5 assessments
(3 mandatory and 2 optional units)

Study Materials

Our students receive AAT study materials, which matches the latest AAT syllabus. All our AAT study materials are exam focused and very student friendly.

You will receive study workbooks, student notes, revision notes and practice questions in the style of the Computer Based Tests (CBTs).

Revision and Mocks

Our Tuition and Revision Phases are designed to be seamless. The Tuition Phase will give you the knowledge and reinforce it through exam standard question practice. You will then perfect your skills in the Revision Phase.

Each revision course includes multiple full mock exam, to ensure you are ready to cope with the real exam.

Your mock will be marked in plenty of time for you to iron out any last minute glitches and be successful in the real exam.
