Learning Objective
Credit Management and Control is about understanding the principles of credit and debt management in managing the granting of credit and collection of amounts outstanding from customers in an organisation. You will be able to give advice on the granting of credit, and also the collection of monies owed in compliance with relevant legislation, good practice and organisational policy. You will also be able to give advice on the management of debts and on methods which will minimise the risk to the organisation.

- Understand how to prepare and use information from a variety of sources to manage the organisation’s granting of credit.
- Be aware of a range of techniques and methods of credit control that may be used within an organisation.
